AFC Notes: Broncos, Colts, Raiders

Broncos

  • Broncos HC Vance Joseph said G Ron Leary (knee) and OT Jared Veldheer (ankle) will be “eased” back into practice after recovering from their injuries. (Nicki Jhabvala)
  • Joseph added that Leary “feels great” and is optimistic he will fully recover. (Troy Renck)
  • James Palmer mentions that Broncos DE Shane Ray will not start camp on the PUP list after opting against undergoing a second wrist surgery.

Colts

Colts HC Frank Reich said QB Andrew Luck (shoulder) played “strong, consistent” during Thursday’s practice while in windy conditions.

Solid day — in windy conditions,” Reich said, via Pro Football Talk. “Thought he looked strong, consistent. It was a good first day for him.”

Raiders

  • A Raiders’ staff member said recently acquired WR Martavis Bryant has “been compliant” since joining the team: “[He’s] been compliant since he’s gotten here. That’s all we can ask for.“ (Michael Gehlken)
  • On Thursday, Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport reported that Bryant still hasn’t heard anything from the NFL regarding the rumors of a possible suspension.
