Another Titans Player Tests Positive For COVID-19

According to Tom Pelissero, another Titans player has tested positive for COVID-19 in results from Wednesday’s testing.

Pelissero adds one test from yesterday that was inconclusive is now positive, which makes it three positives in the past two days for the Titans.

The Titans placed WR Corey Davis on the COVID-19 list yesterday and should have two more additions to the list by tonight.

Obviously the facility remains closed and given the team’s next game against the Bills in Week 5 is only a few days away, it’s hard to see that game proceeding as scheduled.

Tennessee had had two straight days without positive tests after their outbreak last week and was on the verge of reopening until Wednesday.

The team’s facility has been closed since last Tuesday and in order to reopen under the league’s COVID-19 protocols, there need to be multiple consecutive days with no positive tests.

In total, 23 members of the Titans organization have tested positive over the past week or so.

Both the NFL and NFLPA are investigating the Titans for potential violations of the COVID-19 protocols and the team could face steep discipline.

We’ll have more on the Titans COVID-19 outbreak as the news is available.
