The Chicago Bears announced Wednesday that they’ve signed OL Laurence Gibson to their practice squad.
The Bears’ practice squad now consists of:
- LB John Timu
- CB Da’Vante Bausby
- WR Daniel Braverman
- OL Jason Weaver
- TE Ben Braunecker
- RB Perry Senorise
- QB Matt Barkley
- OL Cornelius Edison
- DB Demontre Hurst
- OL Laurence Gibson
Gibson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Cowboys back in May of last year. He lasted just a few months in Dallas before he was among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Chiefs later signed him to their practice squad at the start of the year and brought him back on a future/reserve deal in January. However, he was unfortunately placed on waivers shortly after this year’s draft.
Gibson later signed on with the Falcons before he was unfortunately cut loose this past weekend.
Gibson has yet to appear in an NFL game.
