The Cincinnati Bengals announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed veteran OT Eric Winston and placed OT Jake Fisher on the non-football illness list.
Winston, 33, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2006. He played six seasons for the Texans before bouncing around a bit with the Chiefs and Cardinals.
The Bengals signed him to a contract back in 2014 and he has spent the past three years in Cincinnati before returning to the team on a one-year, $1.08 million contract this past March. Unfortunately, the Bengals cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2016, Winston appeared in all 16 games for the Bengals and played 279 total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
