The Cincinnati Bengals announced the release of G Mike Pollak on Friday.

Pollak, 30, signed a three-year, $5 million contract with the Bengals last year that included another $2.5 million available through incentives. He had base salaries of $1.2 million and $1.35 million coming his way over the next two years.
According to OverTheCap.com, releasing Pollak will free up $1,108,332 in available cap space, while creating $333,334 in dead money.
Last year, Pollak appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and played a total of 450 snaps. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 19 guard out of 78 qualifying players.
