NFL.com’s Michael Lombardi reports that the Cincinnati Bengals have reached a three-year agreement with former Patriots RB BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
The Bengals had to address the running back position at some point and signing Green-Ellis is a pretty solid move for the team. Overall, the market for veteran running backs has been terrible this year and Green-Ellis was clearly one of the best available options. Cincinnati will pair him with Bernard Scott in the hopes of improving their running game from a year ago.
