Bengals to release Antonio Bryant

Bob Glauber of Newsday reports that the Bengals a set to release Antonio Byrant. Cincinnati signed Bryant to a 4 year $28 million deal this off-season but Bryant has struggled to stay healthy due to knee problems which has been suggested as the reason that the Buccaneers released him.

Since the team signed Terrell Owens, Bryant has been on the outside looking in and his release seemed imminent at some point. This could be the end for the talent wide-out but I’m sure that he’ll get another opportunity to make another team when he’s healthy.
