Bengals Waive RB Thomas Rawls

The Cincinnati Bengals announced Tuesday that they’ve waived RB Thomas Rawls.

Rawls, 25, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Central Michigan back in May of last year. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1.59 million rookie contract but was not tendered a restricted offer by the Seahawks.

Rawls signed on with the Jets this past March but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. The Bengals signed him to a contract a few weeks ago.

In 2017, Rawls appeared in 12 games for the Seahawks and rushed for 157 yards on 58 carries (2.7 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 94 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
