A.J. Green Meeting With Foot Specialist To Determine If Surgery Is Needed

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Bengals WR A.J. Green was slated to visit foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay during the bye after his toe swelled up.

Adam Schefter confirms the news and adds that Green is still in a walking boot and is expected to miss “some games.”

Green, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2011. He’s currently in the fourth year of his five-year, $70.176 million contract that included $26.75 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $10.55 million and $11.97 million over the remainder of the agreement.

In 2018, Green has appeared eight games for the Bengals and caught 45 passes for 687 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
