Bengals WR A.J. Green Undergoing Season-Ending Surgery, Out 3-4 Months

Adam Schefter reports that Bengals WR A.J. Green is expected to undergo season-ending surgery for torn ligaments in his toe.

According to Schefter, Green will be sidelined for 3-4 months, but he is expected to have a full recovery and be ready in time for the start of OTAs.

You can expect the Bengals to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Green, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2011. He’s currently in the fourth year of his five-year, $70.176 million contract that included $26.75 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $10.55 million and $11.97 million over the remainder of the agreement.

In 2018, Green appeared nine games for the Bengals and caught 46 passes for 694 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
