Bengals WR A.J. Green “Unlikely” To Play In Week 12

Ian Rapoport reports that Bengals WR A.J. Green is now listed as doubtful for Week 12 and is “unlikely to play” after missing an entire week of practice due to his toe injury.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Green has a “good chance” of returning for the team’s game against the Browns, but it appears he was not able to recover in time for Sunday.

Bengals HC Marvin Lewis told reporters on Friday that Green could practice on Saturday and play on Sunday. However, Green was unable to return to the practice field in time.

Green, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2011. He’s currently in the fourth year of his five-year, $70.176 million contract that included $26.75 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $10.55 million and $11.97 million over the remainder of the agreement.

In 2018, Green has appeared eight games for the Bengals and caught 45 passes for 687 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
