In my opinion, this piece is one of the best ones we do annually. Cuts are a fact of life in the NFL and this helps set the table for which players could be added to the free agent pool.

Free agency is very topical for NFL fans in March and that’s reflected here, as fans kept checking back to see who was available for their favorite team to sign.

As soon as the draft is over, the undrafted free agent signings start fast and furious. This is where an aggregation site like ours can really shine, pulling together all the different reports from a variety of sources, some of which aren’t always through the usual channels.

Another piece of undrafted free agent content, this article runs yearly and spotlights UDFA talent that has a chance to stick around on rosters as contributors. The single busiest day of the NFL calendar always falls in August as teams trim their rosters down to 53 players. Whether they go from 90 to that number all at once or in stages has varied, but regardless it’s meant over 1,000 transactions crammed into a short time period (and another 500-plus when factoring in practice squads).

Free agents are top of mind again as injuries start to thin rosters and teams and fans start to look around for help.

Trade talk dominates October, even with the deadline being moved back a week this year from its traditional slot near Halloween.

The actual deadline was hot this year with multiple deals in the 72 hours right before the trading period expired. We’ve already covered the Gardner trade and the Jets were busy auctioning off more pieces, which is reflected in the above headline. The whole league was watching with bated breath to see what would happen next.
