Bills Considering Trade Up To No. 3 For Quinnen Williams?

Jason La Canfora has spoken with two GMs who have said they believe the Bills could attempt to get up to No. 3 overall with the Jets to land Alabama DT Quinnen Williams.

This comes shortly after Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reported that while there was a sense in recent days that the Jets wouldn’t be able to trade down from No. 3 overall, three GMs have told him that they think New York will “definitely” trade out as long as Nick Bosa is not available.

Mehta adds that these GMs do not expect the Redskins to be a trade partner for the No. 3 overall pick.

Ian Rapoport reported earlier that Cardinals GM Steve Keim reached out to Williams to tell him he’s still an option with the No. 1 overall pick.

Williams, 6-4, 289 lb, is widely considered to be one of the top prospects in this year’s draft class and is likely to be top-4 overall pick tonight.

During his college career at Alabama, Williams recorded 91 tackles, 26 tackles for a loss, 10 sacks, and a pass defense over the course of two seasons and 24 games.

We’ll have more regarding the Bills as the news is available.
