Bills OT Cyrus Kouandjio Underwent Hip Surgery After Falling At His Home

The Buffalo Bills announced Thursday that OT Cyrus Kouandjio suffered a non-football injury to his hip after falling at his home.

According to the Bills, Kouandjio has already undergone successful surgery and is still expected to be ready for the start of training camp.

Kouandjio, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2014. He’s entering the final year of his four-year, $4.808 million contract that included $2.825 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $1,025,748 for the 2017 season.

In 2016, Kouandjio appeared in 12 games for the Bills and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 34 offensive tackle out of 78 qualifying players.
