Bills Sign CB Sterling Moore To A One-Year Deal

The Buffalo Bills announced the signing of CB Sterling Moore on Tuesday.

  • According to Adam Caplan, Moore receives a one-year contract from the Bills.

Buffalo has been busy the past few days signing LB Zach Brown and CB Corey White to contracts and now Moore.

Moore, 26, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Southern Methodist back in 2011. However, he lasted just a few months in Oakland before he was waived a few weeks into the season.

He spent over a year with the Patriots before catching on with the Cowboys in November of 2012. The Buccaneers later signed him to a one-year contract as an unrestricted free agent last year.

In 2014, Moore appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and recorded 46 tackles, a forced fumble, two recoveries and 13 pass defenses for the Cowboys’ defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 22 cornerback out of 108 qualifying players with a solid coverage rating.
