Bills Sign DL Jerel Worthy To Practice Squad, Cut LB Kevin Riddick

The Buffalo Bills announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DL Jerel Worthy to their practice squad and released LB Kevin Reddick to make room for him.

Worthy, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just two years in Green Bay and sustained a serious knee. Upon returning, the Packers traded him to the Patriots for a conditional draft pick, but he was unfortunately cut loose.

Since then, Worthy has had brief stints with the Chiefs and Lions.

Worthy hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he was still playing for the Packers.
