Bills Signing OL LaAdrian Waddle To One-Year Contract

The Buffalo Bills announced that they have signed former Patriots OL LaAdrian Waddle to a one-year contract.

There was some talk that Waddle could be a candidate to return to the Patriots this offseason after they lost Trent Brown to the Raiders. However, it looks like he’ll be playing for a division rival instead.

Waddle, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Texas Tech back in 2013. He spent over two years in Detroit before he was waived midseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Patriots.

Waddle played out his three-year, $1.485 million rookie contract before signing a two-year contract with the Patriots back in 2016. He re-signed to another one-year extension with New England last offseason.

Waddle was, once again, testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2018, Waddle appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 75 overall offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
