ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that New Orleans Saints running back Lynell Hamilton has suffered a knee injury that could leave him out for the season. The team has mentioned that the injury could be a torn ACL.
It seems as though every time that there is an injury to running back, Brian Westbrook’s name surfaces as a possible suitor for the position. So I guess we can add the Saints to the list of teams that may take a look Westbrook. It has been previously reported that the Rams and Redskins have had interest in the veteran RB but nothing seems imminent.
