Mike Klis of 9 News reports that the Broncos activated DL Shelby Harris from the COVID list and placed CB Bryce Callahan on injured reserve with a foot injury.

Itโ€™s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list in just three weeks.

Harris, 29, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014. He was on an off of their practice squad for two years before returning to the Raiders on a one-year, exclusive rights deal.

Unfortunately, the Raiders waived Harris after the 2016 draft and he had brief stints with the Jets and Cowboys before signing a futures deal with the Broncos for the 2017 season. Denver brought Harris back last year on one-year, $3.095 million restricted deal and signed him to a one-year deal worth up to $3.25 million this past March.

In 2020, Harris has appeared in seven games for the Broncos and recorded 23 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and three passes defended.
