Broncos D.J. Williams Gets 3 More Games Added To His Suspension

Lindsay Jones of The Denver Post confirms that Broncos LB D.J. Williams will receive an additional three game suspension which brings his total of games he’ll miss to nine.

Already serving a six game suspension for violating the league’s banned substances abuse policy, Williams will now miss games against New Orleans, Cincinnati and Carolina after getting an additional 3 game suspension for a DUI, which is his second since joining the Broncos.

Williams has been the leading tackler in four of the last five seasons with Denver, but he won;t be eligible to return in until Nov. 12. For now, he’ll be replaced by Wesley Woodyard and Keith Brooking who will share an equal workload in his absence.
