Broncos Re-Sign LB Jeremiah Attaochu

Adam Schefter reports that the Broncos are re-signing LB Jeremiah Attaochu to a one-year contract on Monday.

According to Mike Klis, Attaochu’s contract with Denver is worth $1.5 million, which is above the veteran minimum of $910,000.

Attaochu, 27, is a former second-round pick by the Chargers in the 2014 NFL Draft. He finished his four-year rookie contract before signing a one-year, $3 million contract with the 49ers.

Attaochu was among the 49ers’ final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and later signed on with the Jets. From there, he had a brief stint with the Chiefs before joining the Broncos in October of last year.

In 2019, Attaochu appeared in 11 games for the Jets and recorded 19 total tackles, three and a half sacks, and one fumble recovery.
