Broncos Set On Drafting A DT At #25?

Mike Klis of the Denver Post writes that the Broncos are likely to address cornerback, defensive tackle and running back through the draft but admits that unless Alabama RB Trent Richardson or Alabama CB Dre Kirkpatrick are available, the plan will be to take the best available defensive tackle.

“I think that’s an issue that always comes up every year, especially inside,” Elway said. “Defensive tackle is, no question, an area where we want to get better, but we also have some others.”

Klis lists: LSU’s Michael Brockers, Penn State’s Devon Still, Michigan State’s Jerel Worthy, Boise State’s Billy Winn and Mississippi State’s Fletcher Cox as potential targets for the Broncos.

It’s hard to imagine that Brockers will be available and Still could very well be gone as well but they should have some options to consider by the time they’re on the clock in April.
