Browns Claim LB Brady Sheldon Off Waivers From Raiders

Field Yates reports that the Browns have claimed LB Brady Sheldon off of waivers from the Raiders on Wednesday.

Sheldon, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Ferris State back in May of last year. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Raiders cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

Oakland eventually promoted Sheldon to their active roster in December.

In 2017, Sheldon appeared in two games for the Raiders but did not record a statistic.
