Browns Claim TE Ryan Taylor Off Waivers From Ravens

The Cleveland Browns claimed TE Ryan Taylor off of waivers from the Baltimore Ravens, according to the NFL transaction release.

Baltimore claimed Tayl0r off of waivers from the Green Bay Packers a few weeks ago, but didn’t play a single snap for the Ravens.

Taylor, 26, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2011 out of North Carolina. He was entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Over the course of his four years with the Packers, Taylor has appeared in 50 games and caught eight passes for 45 yards receiving and a touchdown. He was a regular contributor to the Packers’ the special-teams unit since entering the NFL.
