Browns Promote CB A.J. Green To Active Roster

The Cleveland Browns officially promoted CB A.J. Green from their practice squad to active roster.

Cleveland has ruled out CB Greedy Williams from Week 3 while CB Denzel Ward is questionable, so Green adds some depth to the Browns’ secondary.

Green, 22, signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in April. He was among their final roster cuts coming out of training camp and signed with Cleveland’s practice squad.

During his four-year college career, Green recorded 47 total tackles, 5.5 tackles for loss, six interceptions, 21 pass defenses, two forced fumbles, and scored one defensive touchdown.
