Browns Sign DB Aaron Ross & LB Everette Brown

The Cleveland Browns announced the signing of DB Aaron Ross and LB Everette Brown on Sunday.

Ross, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Giants back in 2007. He played out his rookie contract with New York before signing a three-year contract with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2012.

However, his time Jacksonville was short lived, as the team cut him loose just one year into his contract.

Ross later returned to the Giants before signing on with the Ravens in June of last year.

In 2014, Ross was limited to appearing in just four games after he sustained a torn Achilles tendon and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Brown, 28, was taken with No. 43 overall pick of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers, but lasted just two season before being released. He signed with the Cowboys in October of last season in order to add some much needed depth at defensive line.

Washington signed him a contract last summer, but he was unable to make the final 53-man roster coming out of the preseason.
