Browns Sign Third-Round OL Shon Coleman

The Cleveland Browns announced Tuesday that they’ve signed third-round OL Shon Coleman to a four-year deal.

The Browns still have three rookies from their 2016 draft class to get under contract, including DE Carl Nassib, QB Cody Kessler and LB Joe Schobert, so there’s more work to do.

Coleman, 24, was selected with the No. 76 overall pick by the Browns over a month ago. The Browns lost C Alex Mack and RT Mitchell Schwartz in free agency, so they had to bring some young offensive line talent to develop in the coming years.

According to OverTheCap.com, Coleman receives a four-year contract worth $3,127,536 $787,536 to go along with a signing bonus of $787,536 .

During his college career at Auburn, Coleman started 25 games at left tackle and was a second-team All-SEC selection in 2015.
