Browns Signing OL Mike Liedtke To Practice Squad

The Cleveland Browns are signing OL Mike Liedtke to their practice squad on Tuesday, according to his agent Brett Tessler.

The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL Dan France
  2. WR Darius Jennings
  3. QB Kevin Hogan
  4. DB Ed Reynolds
  5. OL Anthony Fabiano
  6. CB Trey Caldwell
  7. LB Scooby Wright
  8. RB Terrell Watson
  9. WR Josh Boyce
  10. OL Mike Liedtke

Liedtke recently worked out for the Ravens and was set to meet with the Jaguars on Wednesday, but it appears as though the Browns convinced him to join their practice squad.

Liedtke, 24, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois State back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the Dolphins practice squad.

The Chiefs elected to sign him to their active roster in October of last year before bringing him back on a future/reserve contract. Unfortunately for Liedtke, he was waived just a few weeks after this year’s NFL draft.

The Jets later signed him to a contract in June only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason. Liedtke recently worked for the Saints and Browns.

Liedtke has yet to appear in an NFL game.
