The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they’ve signed CB Vernon Harris and OT Austin Albrecht to contracts on Saturday.
- The Buccaneers also waived OT Cole Gardner and CB Maurice Fleming.
Harris, 23, wound up signing on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Citadel back in May of last year. Unfortunately, Harris was waived with an injury designation coming out of the preseason last year and spent the entire season on injured reserve.
The Chiefs elected to cut him loose shortly after this year’s NFL draft.
Harris has yet to appear in an NFL game.
