Cardinals LB Jeremy Cash Appears To Have Season-Ending Knee Injury

Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo are reporting that Cardinals LB Jeremy Cash, who was carted off during Saturday’s preseason game, suffered what appears to be a season-ending knee injury.

Cash will undergo more tests to determine the severity of the injury, but the expectation is that this is likely a season-ending issue for him.

Cash, 25, signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in May of last year. He was waived him with an injury settlement a year later and he signed on to the Jets’ practice squad.

Cash had a brief stint with the Giants before he was claimed off of waivers by the Browns late last season. Cleveland waived him this past March and he was once again claimed off of waivers, this time by the Cardinals.

In 2017, Cash appeared in just one game and did not record a statistic.
