Cardinals Promote QB Drew Anderson, Place TE Darrell Daniels On IR

The Arizona Cardinals announced that they have promoted QB Drew Anderson from their practice squad to the active roster and placed TE Darrell Daniels on injured reserve.

Anderson, 24, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Murray State back in May. He was among Arizona’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was added to their practice squad.

During his three-year college career at Buffalo and Murray State, Anderson recorded 324 completions on 536 pass attempts (60.4 percent) for 3,903 yards, 30 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
