The Arizona Cardinals announced Tuesday that they’ve signed veteran DE Andre Branch to a contract.
- The Cardinals also activated LB Dante Booker from the PUP list.
Arizona brought Branch in for a workout last month, so he was clearly on their radar as a potential addition.
Branch, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the Jaguars before signing a one-year, $3 million contract with the Dolphins in 2016.
From there, Branch agreed to return to Miami on a three-year, $27 million contract the following year. However, he was released by the Dolphins back in March.
In 2018, Brach appeared in 14 games for the Dolphins and recorded 25 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and a pass defense.
We had him featured in our Top 50 Available Free Agents list.
