Cardinals Tried Out Three DBs Including Briean Boddy-Calhoun

According to Howard Balzer, the Arizona Cardinals brought in three defensive backs for workouts on Tuesday, including S Briean Boddy-Calhoun, CB Andre Chachere, and CB De’Vante Harris.

Boddy-Calhoun, 26, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2016. He was waived a few months later and claimed off of waivers by the Browns.

Cleveland declined to tender Boddy-Calhoun a restricted contract, which allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent. He signed a one-year deal with the Texans back in March but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Since becoming a free agent, the Vikings brought Boddy-Calhoun in for a visit last week but he left Minnesota without a contract.

In 2018, Boddy-Calhoun appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 56 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
