According to Ian Rapoport, the Chargers are expected to sign DL Willie Yarbary following a tryout.
Yarbary previously played in the Spring League and he’s one of four former Spring League players who tried out for Los Angeles and could still be signed.
Yarbary, 6-2 and 285 pounds, went undrafted out of Wake Forest in 2019. He tried out for the Falcons at minicamp but was not signed to a deal.
Yarbary landed in the CFL with the Toronto Argonauts briefly before playing in the Spring Leage and National Arena League.
In 2019, Yarbary appeared in three games for the Massachusetts Pirates of the NAL and recorded 4.5 total tackles and 2.5 sacks.
