The Los Angeles Chargers announced Monday that they’ve signed WR Justice Liggins and DE Patrick Afriyi to contracts.
Liggins, 23, wound up signing on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Stephen F. Austin last year. The Colts waived him coming out of the preseason but elected to bring him back on a futures contract this past January.
Unfortunately, the Colts waived Liggins a few days after this year’s draft.
During his four-year college career at Stephen F. Austin, Liggins caught 102 passes for 1,166 yards receiving and eight touchdowns over the course of 36 games played.
