Chris Johnson Looking For A New Contract

ESPN’s Paul Kuharsky reported on Wednesday that the Tennessee Titans RB Chris Johnson indicated that he is expecting the team to start contract negotiations once the lockout is finally lifted.

Johnson is set to make $800,000 for the upcoming season which is more than a steal for the Titans. If the team doesn’t address his contract once teams can begin negotiations, they risk a possible holdout from their best offensive weapon. Head coach Mike Munchak has already said that he plans on employing a run first offense for the upcoming season and Johnson is no doubt the center piece of their offense.
