Colts Claim G Donovan Williams Off Waivers From Bears, Waive P Michael Palardy

The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that they’ve claimed G Donovan Williams off waivers from the Chicago Bears and waived P Michael Palardy.

Palardy, 24, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2014. He lasted less than a month in New York before catching on with the Raiders.

The Rams later signed him off of the Raiders’ practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve deal before cutting him at the start of the 2015 season. The Ravens signed him to a contract last week.

Palardy caught on briefly with the Panthers but was waived after the team signed veteran P Mike Scifres to a contract in June. After a brief stint with the Ravens, the Colts signed him to a contract a few weeks ago.

Palardy has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Williams, 23, wound up signing on with the Bears an an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana-Lafayette back in May. However, he was unfortunately waived over the weekend to make room for two free agent additions.
