Colts Hosting Former Eagles G Todd Herremans For A Visit

Tim McManus of Philly Mag reports that former Eagles G Todd Herremans will be visiting with the Indianapolis Colts on Friday.

  • Adam Caplan mentions that there are other teams are interested in bringing in Herremans in for visits, but didn’t offer any specifics as to who could be interested.

This is the first reported interest in him since he became available a little over a week ago.

Philadelphia released Herremans in a move that cleared $2.8 million in available cap space.

Unfortunately for Herremans, his 2014 season was cut short after he sustained a torn biceps that required season-ending surgery and led to him being placed on injured reserve.

Herremans, 32, was limited to playing in just eight games. Pro Football Focus has Herremans down for playing 525 snaps last year, but he’s rated as the No. 57 guard in the league out of 78 qualifying players. His poor rating comes from troubles in pass protection.
