The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday that they’ve re-signed RB Tion Green and waived Josh Ferguson with an injury designation
Should Ferguson clear waivers tomorrow, he would revert to the Colts’ injured serve list.
Green, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Cincinnati last year. He managed to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason and was set to make base salaries of $555,000 and $645,000 over the next two years of the agreement when the Lions waived him this past May.
The Colts signed Green to a contract a few weeks ago only to release him earlier in the week.
In 2017, Green appeared in five games for the Lions and rushed for 165 yards on 42 carries (3.9 YPC) to go along with two receptions for 14 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
