The Indianapolis Colts announced Wednesday that they’ve placed S Akeem Davis on waivers and signed CB Winston Rose to a contract.
Davis, 26, originally signed on with the Redskins back in 2014. He was on and off of Washington’s practice squad during his rookie season before being waived coming out of the preseason last year.
Davis bounced around with the Saints, Buccaneers, and Seahawks in 2015 before being claimed off of waivers by the Colts in December. Indianapolis re-signed Davis to a one-year exclusive rights contract over a month ago.
In 2015, Davis was active for six games and recorded two tackles and a forced fumble.
