Aaron Wilson reports that the Colts brought in six free agents for workouts on Monday including DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun.
The full list of tryouts for the Colts includes:
- LB Curtis Akins
- DB Corrion Ballard
- DB Briean Boddy-Calhoun
- DT Carl Davis
- DT Deon Simon
- RB David Williams
Since becoming available, Boddy-Calhoun has worked out for the Eagles, Vikings and Cardinals.
Boddy-Calhoun, 26, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2016. He was waived a few months later and claimed off of waivers by the Browns.
Cleveland declined to tender Boddy-Calhoun a restricted contract, which allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent. He signed a one-year deal with the Texans back in March but was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Boddy-Calhoun appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 56 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
