December Return Looking “Increasingly Likely” For Bengals WR A.J. Green

Adam Schefter reports that Bengals WR A.J. Green is going to miss at least two games with his foot injury, but it would not be a surprise if he were out until December.

Schefter adds that a December return for Green is looking “increasingly likely.

Green visited foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson in Green Bay after his toe swelled up, but received good news that surgery won’t be required for his specific issue.

Green, 30, is a former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2011. He’s currently in the fourth year of his five-year, $70.176 million contract that included $26.75 million guaranteed and set to make base salaries of $10.55 million and $11.97 million over the remainder of the agreement.

In 2018, Green has appeared eight games for the Bengals and caught 45 passes for 687 yards receiving and six touchdowns.
