Giants, Dolphins, Redskins, Chargers, Broncos & Lions To Meet With Missouri QB Drew Lock

According to Alex Schiffer, the Miami Dolphins met with Missouri QB Drew Lock for dinner and board work on Wednesday night.

The New York Giants will reportedly meet with Lock to do the same on Thursday night.

Both teams are candidates to take Lock with their first-round selection.  The Dolphins pick at No. 13, while the Giants could consider Lock with their second first-round pick at No. 17, acquired from the Browns in the trade for WR Odell Beckham.

Lock will also reportedly meet with the Denver Broncos before the draft.  Denver GM John Elway is rumored to like Lock as a prospect, and the Broncos could consider him with their first-round pick, No. 10 overall.

Other new teams that Lock has reportedly met with or will meet include the Redskins, Chargers and Lions, per Steve Wyche.

Daniel Jeremiah posted an early scouting report for Lock and mentioned he has a lot of similarities to Patrick Mahomes when he was coming out of Texas Tech, given that they both have big arms and move around really well.

Lock, 22, played for four seasons at Missouri.  Over his career, he threw for 12,193 yards, 99 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.  He also added 437 yards rushing and nine touchdowns.
