Dolphins CB Cordrea Tankersley Out For Season With Torn ACL

Dolphins HC Adam Gase announced Friday that CB Cordrea Tankersley suffered a torn ACL during Thursday’s practice and is out for the season, per Cameron Wolfe.

You can expect the Dolphins to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and add someone to their roster.

Tankersley, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Dolphins back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.17 million contract and set to make base salaries of $583,000 and $673,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Tankersley appeared in six games for the Dolphins and recorded five tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
