Dolphins DE Cameron Wake Likely To Miss 2-3 Weeks?

Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports that Dolphins DE Cameron Wake is expected to miss 2-3 weeks with “a mild” MCL sprain.

Kelly adds that Wake’s injury won’t require surgery, which is obviously great news for him moving forward.

Derrick Shelby filled in for Wake after he was forced to leave Sunday’s game, so odds are he’ll be asked to replace Wake while he’s out. No. 3 overall pick Dion Jordan could also see some additional playing time as well.

It’s worth noting that other reports have indicated that Wake is day-to-day, so we’ll have more regarding his status for Week 4 in the coming days.
