Dolphins Looking At CBs Logan Ryan & Brian Poole In Free Agency

According to Cameron Wolfe, the Dolphins are actively looking at the starting cornerback market in free agency, including Titans CB Logan Ryan and Jets CB Brian Poole.

Wolfe also confirms the Dolphins are among the interested teams in Cowboys CB Byron Jones, per other reports.

Ryan, 29, is a former third-round pick of the Patriots back in 2013. He has played out his four-year, $2,773,252 contract with the Patriots before agreeing to a three-year, $30 million contract with the Titans in 2017.

Ryan made base salaries of $10 million and $9.5 million the past two seasons.

In 2019, Ryan appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and recorded 113 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four interceptions, four forced fumbles and 18 pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 62 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.

Poole, 27, wound up signing on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Florida back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first three seasons.

Poole was in line to be a restricted free agent when the Falcons declined to tender him a contract. He later signed a one-year contract worth $3.5 million with the Jets for the 2019 season.

In 2019, Poole appeared in 14 games for the Jets and recorded 59 tackles, one interception returned for a touchdown, one forced fumble, five pass defenses and a safety. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 9 cornerback out of 113 qualifying players.
