Dolphins Worked Out 4 Defensive Linemen Including Jerel Worthy

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Dolphins worked out four defensive linemen on Monday including Jerel Worthy, Derrick Lott, Glenn Foster, and Davon Coleman.

Worthy, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just two years in Green Bay and sustained a serious knee. Upon returning, the Packers traded him to the Patriots for a conditional draft pick, but he was unfortunately cut loose.

Since then, Worthy has had brief stints with the Chiefs and Lions.

Worthy hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season when he was still playing for the Packers.

Coleman, 23, wound up signing on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State back in May of last year. He later re-signed with the Cowboys in February and managed to make the team coming out of the preseason.

This season, Coleman has appeared in two games, but has yet to record a single statistic.
