Dolphins Worked Out Six Players Including S L.J. McCray

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Dolphins brought in six players for tryouts on Monday including LB Ron Thompson, DE Arthur Miley, S L.J. McCray, S Floyd Raven, S Trent Matthews and CB Daniel Davie.

It’s likely that these players are being considered for potential future/reserve deals or spots on their practice squad for the playoffs.

McCray, 25, wound up signing on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Catawba back in May of 2014. The 49ers elected to trade him to the Seahawks coming out of the preseason for a conditional 2018 seventh-round pick but he failed a physical and was later waived.

The Colts recently brought McCray in for a workout but did not extend him an offer.

In 2015, McCray recorded five tackles over the course of eight games.
