Eagles Waive WR Braxton Miller

The Philadelphia Eagles announced Saturday that they’ve waived WR Braxton Miller.

This move creates a roster spot for QB Josh McCown, who has signed a one-year deal with the Eagles.

Miller, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2016. He was in the third year of his four-year, $3.114 million contract hen the Texans cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year.

The Eagles later signed Miller to their practice squad after clearing waivers and he returned to Philadelphia this past January on a futures contract.

For his career, Miller has appeared in 21 games for the Texans and caught 34 passes for 261 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
