Eagles Work Out QBs Terrelle Pryor & Thad Lewis

Pro Football Talk, citing a league source, reports that the Philadelphia Eagles worked out quarterbacks Terrelle Pryor and QB Thad Lewis in recent days.

Philadelphia has been forced to start Mark Sanchez following the injury to Nick Foles, so there is at least a chance that one of these two players could be added for the time being.

Pryor has found a decent amount of interest since he was waived by the Seahawks earlier in the year. Up to this point, Pryor has reportedly worked out for the EaglesGiants, Bengals and Buccaneers.

Pryor, 25, appeared in 11 games last year and completed 57.4 percent of his passes for 1,798 yards, seven touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Lewis, 26, was among the Bills final roster cuts coming out of the preseason after he was unable to beat out Jeff Tuel for a backup job.

Last year, Lewis appeared in six games and completed 59.2 percent of his passes for 1,092 yards to go along with four touchdowns and three interceptions.

  1. Pryor would be a great practice squad pickup at the least. I wouldn’t be shocked/mind if we picked him over Barkley as normal 3rd QB.
